For six or seven years every summer, Lauren Stanton and her family habitually left their home in Hillingdon, Middlesex, England, got on a plane and headed for sunny Cyprus to enjoy their annual holiday.  But as the last holiday was sadly coming to an end, something happened to Lauren–she just didn’t want to leave Cyprus.  Then she realised–in a way, she didn’t have to.  She went back to Hillingdon, packed up her things, said good-bye to her family and friends, and at the age of 19 she boldly moved to Cyprus.

Within no time, Lauren got a job on Bar Street at “Notorious,” which is a go-to place for tourists or anyone who wants to have fun.  Lauren is not a novice when it comes to the hospitality business.  Her father owns a venue called Q’Vardis in Cowley, West London, where the whole family helps out.  She also went to Uxbridge College and majored in Travel and Tourism.
Her working day starts at night–at 10:00 p.m., and might not end until about 3:00 a.m., when her free time begins. That’s when she parties with her workmates and friends usually until about 7:00 a.m.  Just when the tourists are going for their morning swim, Lauren is heading for bed, so she can be rested enough to do it all over again.
